Fiberart For A Cause: Day six

Today's featured artist is Larkin Van Horn from Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest.

Larkin has donated Hidden Gold a talisman necklace created from glass, stone and shell beads, on a base of cotton fabric and batting. which she then free-form beaded and embroidered by hand.

She enjoys the alchemy and serendipity of dyeing and painting her own fabrics and yarns to create her "paintbox" of materials.

I hope you all are continuing to spread the word about the Fiberarts For A Cause auction.
